Murine model systems

In our research, animal models serve for a better understanding of the pathogenesis of some human autoimmune diseases. To study the genetic cause and involved signal pathways for different human diseases the following mouse models are used within the LIED:

 

- DNFB-induced contace hyersensitivity model
- Experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitits (EAE)
- Imiquimod-induced psoriatiforme dermatitis (IIPD)
- Epidermolysis bullosa acquisita (EBA)
- Bullous pemphigoid (BP)
- Mucous membrane pemphigoid (MMP)
