Mayumi Kamaguchi received her dental medicine training at Hokkaido University (Japan). After she worked as an oral surgeon in the university hospital, she started her Ph.D. product on auto immune bullous diseases (AIBDs) at the Department of Dermatology, and obtained Ph.D. degree in March 2019. Under the support of Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS), she moved to Lübeck (Germany) for further research on AIBDs.
