Nancy Ernst studied Molecular Biotechnology at the TU Dresden (B.Sc.) and Molecular Life Science at the University of Lübeck (M.Sc.). She completed her dissertation in the field of β1 integrin-mediated signaling on human epithelial progenitor cells within human skin and hair follicles.

After her research period in the immune dermatology, she started to work in Prof. Ludwigs group for identifying new therapeutic targets for the treatment of AIBDs. (short CV)
