Leo Li is going into his 4th and final year of my Bachelor's of Science degree at the University of Guelph in Canada. He is majoring in Biomedical Science and minoring in Statistics. In the past, he worked in a cardiovascular research lab where he studied the effect of chronic pain on recovery of the heart from ischemia. Now, he is here on a DAAD RISE scholarship and will be studying changes in the kidney during the development of lupus nephritis under Sarah Stenger.
