Hanna Asmussen graduated with a medical degree from the University of Lübeck in November 2021. For her MD thesis she worked with a human skin organ culture model for pemphigus vulgaris in the Lübecker Institute for Experimental Dermatology (LIED) as part of the Research Training Group 1727 “Modulation of Autoimmunity”. She completed her MD doctorate in December 2021. She is currently working in the department of dermatology at the university hospital Schleswig-Holstein in Lübeck. Her interests are autoimmune blistering diseases and proteomics.
Title of her doctoral thesis: Investigating pemphigus vulgaris pathogenesis using a human skin organ culture model.
