Stephanie Goletz received her degree in biology at the Christian-Albrechts-University of Kiel and completed her doctoral thesis at the Department of General Surgery and Thoracic Surgery (University of Kiel) in the field of molecular oncology in 2007. Afterwards she continued for an additional year as a postdoctoral researcher before she moved to the Department of Dermatology at the University Hospital of Lübeck (short CV).

Since 2009 her main research interests are autoimmune bullous diseases especially pemphigoid skin diseases (anti-p200 pemphigoid, mucous membrane pemphigoid, bullous pemphigoid) focusing on their pathogenesis and diagnosis.
